104 degrees

A 104 degrees
I dip my little toes and pull them out immediately
A sharp pain ... like pain that is familiar these days ...
I Am
back in the hot springs
right by that silliest town, Ward
At first, burning hot
But I wade in anyway... like I do,
almost always-already ... who cares what happens later?
Drenched in the moonlight
like shiny healing oil
my nakedness glistens
i offer you my bodies
all three
surrendering
Surrendering
to this sweet silent Colorado night

I dip my little toes and pull them out immediately
A sharp pain ... like pain that is familiar these days ...
I Am
back in the hot springs
right by that silliest town, Ward
At first, burning hot
But I wade in anyway... like I do,
almost always-already ... who cares what happens later?
Drenched in the moonlight
like shiny healing oil
my nakedness glistens
i offer you my bodies
all three
surrendering
Surrendering
to this sweet silent Colorado night

Help

That's what I get for reading your note then stepping out into the moonlight tonight thinking of you. I return to find this.
Like that image of you at sea's edge that lasted for so long where it was, and is now gone, through this poem ( though i'm not going to pretend to know what pain is “familiar these days”) the courage of proceeding with life shines through. At this, we can all take heart. Some of us do.
Big Love to You Noms!

What a beautiful image…
